Why We Exist

China keeps opening its doors to the world — yet for most foreigners it still sits behind a language barrier and a wall of out-of-date information. We started OlaChina in 2024 to change that. We built this website, along with a few other channels, to eliminate those language barriers and improve the transparency of information flowing between China and the rest of the world.

Our mission is simple: empower foreigners with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate China confidently and successfully — whether you are planning to travel, study, invest, or simply dive deeper into the country’s rich cultural heritage. We want OlaChina to be your window into the real China of today, seen clearly, accurately and efficiently.
