The OlaChina website upgrade is here. Over the next few days, we are rolling out a major rebuild of OlaChina.org on a faster, more modern foundation. The goal is simple: quicker pages, a cleaner design, and a much smoother experience on your phone. Most of the work happens behind the scenes. Still, you may notice a few small hiccups while we flip the switch, so here is everything you need to know.

What’s New on OlaChina.org

This is more than a fresh coat of paint. We rebuilt the site from the ground up so it loads faster and feels lighter to use. Here is what you will notice first:

  • Faster pages: Articles and guides now open noticeably quicker, even on a slow connection.
  • A cleaner design: Simpler layouts, clearer typography, and less clutter, so the content stays front and center.
  • Better on mobile: A redesigned menu and layout that finally feels built for the phone, not squeezed onto it.
  • A refreshed look: A new logo and wordmark, plus a jade-and-gold color theme that better reflects who we are.
  • Easier browsing: Cleaner navigation across our travel and study in China sections, so finding what you need takes fewer clicks.

When the Upgrade Goes Live

The OlaChina website upgrade goes live around June 16. The switch itself is quick. However, there will be a short window while we move everything over and the site settles into its new home. During that time, a few things may not work exactly as expected.

What You Might Notice During the Switch

We want to be upfront, so here is a quick heads-up. While we finish the migration, you may run into a few temporary issues:

  • Slower loading: Some pages may take a little longer than usual while caches rebuild.
  • Brief unavailability: The site, or a few pages, may be hard to reach for a couple of minutes at a time.
  • Features acting up: Search, the contact form, the newsletter sign-up, or menu links may behave oddly for a short while.
  • Small display glitches: An image, a link, or a layout that looks off until everything settles.

Here is the good news. These issues are expected, and they are temporary. In most cases, a quick refresh or a return visit a little later fixes everything. So if a page looks strange right now, do not worry. It will be back to normal shortly.
