Ever thought about teaching abroad? We are recruiting English teachers to come to China and teach across our programs — for children, teenagers and adults. OlaChina makes the move simple: we handle the visa, the placement and the practical side of arriving, so you can focus on what you came to do — teach.

Who You Will Teach

We place teachers across three course stages, so you can lean into the age group that suits you best:

  • Children — playful, high-energy early-learning classes built around games, songs and confidence.
  • Teenagers — a mix of conversational and academic English, often with exams in mind.
  • Adults — practical business and everyday English for professionals and lifelong learners.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and lead engaging lessons that get students actually speaking.
  • Adapt to your students’ level, goals and pace.
  • Track progress and keep parents or learners in the loop.
  • Bring energy, patience and a bit of your own culture into the classroom.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A native or fluent English speaker.
  • A bachelor’s degree — a hard requirement for the Z work visa, in every province.
  • A TEFL/TESOL certificate, or willingness to get one — we can point you the right way.
  • A clean background check and a genuine interest in living in China.
  • Teaching experience is welcome, but not required for every role.

What We Handle for You

  • Z visa and work-permit support — the legal route, done properly.
  • Help finding your placement and guidance on accommodation.
  • Airport pickup and onboarding when you land.
  • A competitive salary and a local support team in Beijing, Nanjing, Hong Kong or partner cities.

One thing we will not cut corners on: teaching legally in China means a proper Z visa and work permit, and we only place teachers through legitimate channels. If you want to understand how the rules really work first, read our honest guide to teaching jobs in China.
